Company policy regarding payment, cancellation and moving of bookings for Shuttle/Private Transfers:

  • Cancellation fee: 30% of booking fee if cancelled 72 hours or more prior to service date/time
  • Cancellation fee: 50% of booking fee if cancelled less than 72 hours but more than 48 hours prior to service date/time
  • Cancellation fee: 100% of booking fee if cancelled less than 48 hours prior to service date/time (NOREFUND)
  • A moving fee will be charged (on management’s discretion) to move a booking from one day or time slot to another provided moving arranged 24 hours prior to the transfer date and pending availability.
  • Shuttle & Private bookings must be paid in full within 24 hours from Invoice date. In the event that payment was not received or no alternative payment arrangements were made, we have the right to cancel this booking without further notice. No seat on the shuttle will be reserved or vehicle will be dispatched unless it has been booked and paid in full in advance.
  • Payment by cheque deposit is NOT ACCEPTED
  • Payment by cash deposit will attract a handling fee of 4% of the transaction amount.
  • Payment by credit card will attract a handling fee of 4% of the transaction amount. If you need to pay via credit card please remember to fill in the credit card authorization form attached and PLEASE NOTE: In order for us to comply with the South African Banking Laws we require a copy of the front and back of the credit card and a copy of the credit card holder Identification Document which must be sent with the credit card authorization for, to enable our bank to process the payment. Only VISA and MasterCard credit cards are accepted. AMEX and Diners Club Credit Cards are NOT accepted.

Other terms and conditions

  • Booking is essential. A booking is only confirmed if S replied in writing and Terms & Conditions have been adhered to.
  • This agreement is entered into by and between Champagne Shuttle & Coach Hire (from now known as CSCH) and the hirer.
  • Quotations are always in South African Rand and are provided subject to availability.
  • Tari􀁷s may be changed without prior notice unless full Advance Payment was received for a booking asper Terms and Conditions on Invoice
  • Prices based on the services of outside contractors may vary and any increase in charges will be passed on to the hirer.
  • An acceptance of the quotation will be regarded as an acceptance of services to be rendered and the full amount of the quote is payable within 24hours from invoice/confirmation date, but at least 72 hours prior to service date.
  • The service cannot be cancelled except by mutual agreement and CSCH shall be at liberty in its discretion to charge a cancellation fee or any percentage thereof.
  • The hirer undertakes to observe any regulations of the Motor Carrier Transportation Act, Tourism Act, and Labour Act (Wage Determination 452) of the Republic of South Africa, as amended from time to time, or of similar and appropriate laws of any other country or countries in which the vehicle may travel during the travel of hire.
  • It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the passengers obey any lawful instruction given by the driver of the vehicle, as far as it relates to the safety of the passengers and the vehicles.
  • Guiding and guides remain the sole responsibility of the hirer and indemnifies CSCH from any prosecution which may arise from the transgression of the Tourism Act No 73 of 1993.
  • Smoking, the use of alcohol and drugs are not allowed in the vehicles. No eating allowed for the duration of the transfer.
  • Please note that children 18 years and younger must be accompanied by at least one of their parents or legal guardian. School children travelling in groups must also be accompanied by at least one of their parents or legal guardian.
  • Safety belts where fitted are compulsory to use. All passengers must be seated for the full duration of the transfer and adults as well as children must be secured with safety belt / baby seat as per South African Road Traffic law
  • Any loss or damage caused to the vehicle, its fittings or equipment due to the negligence or misconduct of any passenger, will be the responsibility of the hirer.
  • CSCH accepts no responsibility (neither to replace nor to deliver it to the guest if and when found) for any goods such as luggage, mobile phones, cameras, handbags etc. The guest is responsible to ensure that all his/her belongings are collected before leaving the vehicle.
  • Entrance fees are the responsibility of the hirer.
  • To ensure punctuality a detailed schedule reflecting all departure and arrival times, must be forwarded to CSCH at least two days before the service is required.
  • CSCH carries passenger’s liability cover, details of which are available on request.

Shuttle terms and conditions

  • CSCH accepts no responsibility for late arrivals due to delayed flights / luggage problems etc. Should your flight be delayed, you will unavoidably miss your shuttle transfer and you will have to make alternative arrangements at your own expense. No refunds will be considered due to the above.
  • Passenger must ensure that his/ her flight’s ETA caters for enough time to gather luggage, clear with Customs etcetera and make his/her way to Public Transport Bus & Coach Terminal at OR Tambo in time for shuttle departure at scheduled time.
  • CSCH accepts no responsibility to re-schedule any transfer, as bookings are accepted pending availability .Should we be able to re-schedule, additional charges will apply.
  • CSCH accepts no responsibility for traffic delays resulting in late arrival at venues / airport, therefore the passenger should take all the necessary precautions to ensure timeous arrival.
  • Travel time between Sun City and Johannesburg: Approximately 2.5 to 3 hours (pending traffic delays etc.)
  • Expected arrival time at destination may vary due to traffic etc.
  • Check in time for Domestic Departures (ORTIA/HLA): 1.5 hours (minimum 1 hour) prior to ETD of flight, depending on the airline.
  • Check in time for International Departures (ORTIA/HLA): 3 hours (minimum 2 hours) prior to ETD of flight, depending on the airline.
  • Drop o􀁷 at OR Tambo International Airport always gets first priority due to flight check in times.
  • No deliberate stops or delays allowed. Additional fee will be payable in the event of any delays caused by the passenger.
  • CSCH undertakes to do anything humanly possible to avoid delays, but do not accept responsibility for any event unforeseen or uncontrollable, such as Acts of God, traffic problems etc.
  • Please advise CSCH if guests would have large luggage or extra-ordinary sized pieces, as we have limited space available for luggage. Only 1 standard suitcase + 1 hand luggage per person are allowed.
  • Entrance/conservation fees at venues not included, and is for customers own account unless specifically requested by tour consultant to pay and bill back. This includes entrance fees levied at any resort (Please note cash handling fee apply).

Private Terms and Conditions


  • CSCH undertakes to wait a maximum of 1 hour from ETA of any Domestic Flight and 1.5 hours from ETA of any International Flight for guests. Should the flight be delayed for any period of time, it is the guest‘s responsibility to advise CSCH accordingly.
  • CSCH accepts no responsibility to re-schedule any transfer, as bookings are accepted pending availability. Should we be able to re-schedule, additional charges will apply.
  • CSCH accepts no responsibility for traffic delays resulting in late arrival at venues / airport, therefore the passenger should take all the necessary precautions to ensure timeous arrival.
  • Travel time between Sun City and Johannesburg: Approximately 2.5 to 3 hours (pending traffic delays etc.)
  • Check in time for Domestic Departures (ORTIA/HLA): 1.5 hours (minimum 1 hour) prior to ETD of flight, depending on the airline.

  • Vehicle not rented for day disposal, therefore no stops or delays allowed. Additional fee will be payable in the event of any delays caused by the passenger as well as waiting time at any venue.
  • CSCH undertakes to do anything humanly possible to avoid delays, but do not accept responsibility for any event unforeseen or uncontrollable, such as Acts of God, traffic problems etc.
  • Please advise CSCH if guests would have large luggage or extra-ordinary sized pieces such as baby strollers or golf bags, as we have limited space available for luggage. We quote for a specific size vehicle, and any luggage more than what we have provided for, will need to be stored at the airport. We only cater for 1 medium size suitcase + 1 hand luggage per person
  • Printing of itinerary/vouchers etc & handing over of documents to guests at any venue. (Maximum 15pages colour or 20 pages black & white) – R165.00 per set of documents.
  • A surcharge of R350.00 per flight will apply when a group of guests arrive from more than one flight or if guests require a meet & greet and assistance at the airport. CSCH will then arrange an airport representative accordingly.
  • NB: Please note add-ons, daily excursions, half and full day disposals only include waiting time at venue. Gold Reef City Tours / Game Reserves such has Kruger or Nambiti Plains / Cradle of Humankind ,Sterkfontein Tours etc. must be booked and paid for in advance at the establishment. NB: Driver is not a Game Ranger, therefore recommend pre-booking of guided game drive. No entrance fees are included and is for the customer’s account.
  • The rate for 1 – 2 pax in a sedan is only applicable depending on the road conditions, due to the ground free height of the vehicle (no dirt / sand / gravel roads). Limited luggage space available – please refer to T&C’s.
  • Late/ early transfer fee applies at R175.00 per transfer for 1 – 2 pax, R250.00 per transfer for 3 – 7 pax andR350.00 per transfer for 8 – 13 pax commencing earlier than 07h00 and drop – off􀁷 later than 19h00. Please note: When the driver needs to sleep over due to the duration/nature of the transfer, R700.00 surcharge for drivers accommodation and meals apply which is for the customer’s account. In the event that the surcharge for driver’s accommodation is levied, the late/early transfer fee is waivered.
  • Extra waiting time at venues (per vehicle, cost of transfer excluded) – R350.00 for 1st hour, R150.00 for every hour (or part thereof) there after.
  • Additional waiting time in the event of late departure will apply at rates as quoted, to be settled by customer in cash directly to CSCH’s driver, therefore the guests must be advised in advance to be ready for departure at the time scheduled for their transfer. A maximum grace period of 30 minutes will be allowed for transfers from hotels to other destinations.
  • Entrance/conservation fees at venues not included, and is for customers own account unless specifically requested by tour consultant to pay and bill back. This includes entrance fees levied at any resort.(Please note cash handling fee apply)
